Types of Bookings

The Stardust Big Band is available to hire for many types of events.  We will tailor the size of the band and music we play to your event.  When you send an enquiry regarding hiring the band our Gig Manager will get in contact with you to discuss your specific requirements.

In general, we have two layouts of band;

  • "Stardust Big Band", Standard band (10 - 16 piece)
    • Main Wedding entertainment
    • Dinner dances
    • Outdoor events
    • Charity events
  • "Just Friends", Small band (5 - 7 piece)
    • Wedding background music
    • Garden Fetes
    • Small venues (such as Farmer's markets)


Upon making a booking with Stardust Big Band, our Gig Manager will send you a "Contract" and our "Standard Terms and Conditions".  The "Contract" will give contact details for both parties and basic information on your event (approximate playing times etc.)
